Hallberg-Rassy 57

Description

Hallberg-Rassy 57 – Swedish craftsmanship meets ocean-going confidence. A true bluewater yacht for those who dream of going further.

"SALTAIR" , Located in Bruinisse,  is hull no.14 of the latest-generation Hallberg-Rassy 57, delivered new to her present owner in June 2023 and specified from the outset for a circumnavigation. In excess of EUR 800,000 of factory and optional fitment went into her build.

She has since completed that circumnavigation. After a first season in European waters she crossed the Atlantic with the ARC 2023, wintered in the Caribbean, cruised the US east coast as far north as Maine, and in January 2025 departed with the World ARC — transiting the Panama Canal, then the Pacific, Indian and South Atlantic oceans by way of the Galapagos, Marquesas, French Polynesia, Fiji, Tonga, Australia, New Zealand, Reunion, Cape Town and Brazil, returning to the Caribbean in spring 2026.

She is offered in full cruising commission and, unusually for a yacht with an ocean behind her, with the clock reset: standing rigging replaced in 2025, and a new suit of Elvstrom Hydranet Radial sails in September 2025.

Some important highlights of her specification:

- Standing rigging replaced 2025; Elvstrom Hydranet Radial mainsail, genoa and cutter new September 2025, the cutter first deployed June 2026
- Push-button sail handling throughout — hydraulic in-mast furling, hydraulic outhaul, powered jib, cutter and Code 0 furlers, six electric self-tailing winches with helm pedestal controls
- 60 kWh Mastervolt lithium bank, 2 x 4 kW inverters, 1,290 W of solar, Onan 17.5 kW generator (approx. 300 hours)
- Global 220V 50/60Hz shore power with isolation transformers — operates without limitation in US, European and worldwide waters
- SEA.AI optical and thermal collision avoidance, dual redundant Raymarine autopilots with three drives, Raymarine Axiom Pro plotters at both helms, Quantum doppler radar, AIS700, Starlink, Iridium GO, Icom IC-M803 SSB, YB tracker
- Spectra Newport 1000c watermaker, 155 l/h, with Z-ion
- Sleipner retractable variable-speed bow and stern thrusters with docking system
- Electric opening bathing platform with tender garage, Simpson 300 kg electric davits, Highfield CL360 tender with Tohatsu 20 hp
- Three cabins, two heads, nine berths; European oak interior; Miele induction galley with Isotherm refrigeration and icemaker
- Comprehensive inventory of spares, tools and cruising equipment included

"SALTAIR" is US flagged and registered, port of registry Casco Bay, and US import duties have been paid. She is EU CE-certified to Category A. EU VAT has not been paid.

"SALTAIR"  is moored and available for viewing in Bruinisse.

Purchase price excluding VAT EUR. 2.375.000,-- for non-European Citizen, or an asking price of EUR. 2.873.750,-- including 21% VAT.
